First, let's clarify what it means to have defined centers. In human design, if a center is colored (not white) in your chart, it's defined. For you, the emotional center and sacral center are defined.

Emotional Authority: What It Means

As someone with a defined emotional center, you have emotional authority. This means you make your best decisions by waiting out your emotional waves. Here's how to handle it:

  • Avoid Making Instant Decisions: Major decisions about your time, money, and energy should not be made in the heat of the moment, whether you're feeling extremely happy or down.
  • Ride the Emotional Wave: Wait for your emotions to settle before making big decisions. This helps you avoid impulsive choices that might lead you in the wrong direction.

Even though you have emotional authority, your defined sacral center can help with everyday decisions. Here's how:

  • Ask Yes or No Questions: For minor, day-to-day decisions, tap into your sacral response. Ask yourself simple yes or no questions. For example, if someone asks, "Do you want to go to lunch today at noon?" check in with your gut feeling.
  • Trust Your Gut: Your sacral response will give you a clear answer for these smaller decisions, helping you navigate daily life without overthinking.
